Introducing SYNKRON™: Our Industrial Attraction Control Platform
Today we're formally introducing SYNKRON™ — the industrial attraction control platform from Immersion Tech Group, built for dark rides, roller coasters, motion attractions, and park-wide synchronization.
Today Immersive Holdings Group is formally introducing SYNKRON™ — the industrial attraction control platform developed and owned by Immersion Tech Group, our engineering division.
SYNKRON is the second pillar of the IHG technology stack, sitting alongside IMMERSE™. Where IMMERSE serves the modular immersive market — escape rooms, museums, themed restaurants, family entertainment centers — SYNKRON is built for the industrial side of themed entertainment: dark rides, roller coasters, motion attractions, stunt shows, parades, nighttime spectaculars, and the synchronized show control of full theme parks.
A purpose-built family of products
SYNKRON ships as a family. The core is SYNKRON CORE™, our master clock, synchronization server, and show execution engine. Around it sit SYNKRON IO™ for physical I/O, SYNKRON AV™ for audio and video distribution, and SYNKRON LX™ for lighting integration. SYNKRON NET™ is the custom protocol stack that ties it all together — UDP-based real-time messaging with TCP-based configuration management.
For ride attractions, SYNKRON RIDE™ is the onboard vehicle unit, designed for fleets of 75+ vehicles per attraction with Wi-Fi 6E telemetry and pre-loaded position-synchronized timelines. SYNKRON SCRIPT™, SYNKRON DEPLOY™, and SYNKRON DIAG™ complete the family — programming environment, commissioning toolkit, and diagnostics and remote monitoring respectively.
The tagline: Perfectly in Sync.
The differentiator is in the name. Conventional show control sends commands as messages — “play this audio file” — and lets network latency, processing delay, and clock drift produce visible misalignment between audio, video, lighting, and motion.
SYNKRON dispatches against a synchronized time base. Every command carries a timestamp: play this asset at exactly timestamp X. Every endpoint holds the asset locally and waits until the master clock reaches that moment. The result is sub-frame synchronization across distributed systems, even when ride vehicles, projection theaters, lighting fixtures, and audio zones are physically separated by hundreds of meters.
What this means for the ecosystem
SYNKRON joins IMMERSE as the second platform powering every IHG destination. Across the portfolio — Cactus Creek, Frontier Crossing, Blackwater Cove, Neon District, Redline Circuit — these are the platforms that will run our show. They will also be available to the broader industry through our systems integration brand, Show Systems International (SSI), as part of ITG’s commercial business.
This is what vertical integration looks like in practice. We build the platform. We run the parks. The platform credibility comes from being the operator.
