A pirate world
that actually works.

Blackwater Cove is a pirate-themed immersive world built around a working harbor. Interactive ships, atmospheric taverns, layered storytelling, and the kind of environmental discipline that turns themed entertainment into a place rather than a backdrop.

A coastal port that breathes.

Blackwater Cove is what the pirate concept looks like when it isn't built as a parade route. The center of the property is a working harbor — full-scale tall ships, weathered docks, cargo nets, rigging, and the constant low-grade activity of a port that doesn't notice the tourists.

The model is environmental, not theatrical. Stories don't happen at fixed showtimes in front of seated audiences. They happen around you, between you, sometimes despite you — driven by the same distributed show control infrastructure that powers the rest of the IHG portfolio.

Four anchors of the world.

The Working Harbor

01

A full-scale harbor at the center of the property. Tall ships moored to weathered docks. Cargo being loaded. Sailors arguing. The harbor is the stage on which the property runs.

Interactive Ships

02

Boardable vessels with fully realized interiors. Captains quarters, gun decks, holds full of contraband. Each ship is its own attraction, its own story, its own technology stack.

Atmospheric Taverns

03

Multi-level themed taverns built for drinking, eating, and overhearing. Distributed audio carries conversations between unseen patrons. Mysterious figures appear and disappear.

Environmental Effects

04

Mist, salt air, the smell of rope and tar, the creak of timbers. Atmospheric effects integrated with the show control system to time them against the broader narrative beats.
